About Con Bro Chill
Con Bro Chill Biography
Chill out, Bro. The Power Party Pop group "Con Bro Chill" was formed after LMFAO, OK GO, and Freddy Mercury was mashed together. This party has been fermenting for years and is finally being released into the world to hit people in the face with the most mind-blowing HAPPINESS you've ever felt. This band is made up of Connor Martin (Party Host/Keytar/Pro Lacrosse Player), SAMM (Lead Vox/Producer), Ty Andre (Party/Art Director), and Steve Felts (Party Warrior/Art Demon). Let's get this party started. Here's the lowdown. Con Bro Chill is a band, a character, a moniker for a pro lacrosse player, a creative collective, a YouTube personality, and a fun party. It can become complex, but here's a quick rundown of what's going on. SAMM (Warner Chapel/Atlantic Producer, Musician, and Director) directed Connor Martin's alter persona "Con Bro Chill" in a series of YouTube videos. In 2009, with the help of a summer internship at a lacrosse firm, the two made a series of funny videos that drew the attention of the lacrosse community. They couldn't stop producing them since they were having so much fun. Con Bro Chill published their debut musical EP, This Is Cool, on iTunes in December 2009, containing their biggest, dumbest song and video, "Come To My Party." Con was chosen by the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse after graduating from Chapman University. Con saw that the dream was alive and well in lacrosse, music, videos, humor, and good times. SAMM jumped on board the CBC train, and Con Bro Chill's second EP, This is Boom, was published on iTunes. SAMM's abilities helped the music take a significant step forward in terms of production, and the lads got to work on the visuals for "Arena" and "Respect Your Partner." They spent the entire of 2011 composing, recording, and making videos for their new full-length album 3D Music (which was released on January 31st). Ty Andre and Steve Felts (of Steve N' Tyler) joined Con and SAMM early on in the Con Bro Chill goof experiment, bringing their amazing abilities to the party. Steve and Con were assigned to live together at Chapman University for four years, two of which shared bunk beds, and they played collegiate lacrosse together. Steve was an apparent necessity for the Con Bro Chill spectacular due to his world-class performing talents, guitar-shredding, creative ability, strong loyalty, acting proficiency, word making, and production skills. Growing up in Lake Oswego, Oregon, Con, and SAMM had a long-time childhood buddy named Ty. Ty's artistic vision and abilities were released at the Con Bro Chill party with the help of the band. He resurrected CBC's bright, goofy style by building on what SAMM and Con had established. So the lacrosse players banded together to develop Con Bro Chill into something bigger, something more enjoyable, and something that provides them a serious creative outlet. This isn't a band that merely makes songs and performs them. Each member has a unique role to play in every element of CBC, whether it's music composition, video production, content creation, or overall development. In general, one might say Con is the party's leader, as he lives and breathes CBC. SAMM makes musical contributions in the style of Freddy Mercury, creating the music, singing high pitches, and directing all of the videos. Ty may be seen constructing our costumes/sets at Goodwill or Home Depot, performing in one of our short movies, and then taking over a dance club with his distinctive moves. Steve, on the other hand, is a one-stop-shop for great dancing movements, artistic creativity, and musical enlightenment. All of the band's videos are produced by them, and all of the music is written by them. They have amazing friends that assist them in shooting or provide random acts of kindness, so it might be impossible to keep track of who did what. Whatever the case may be, Con will continue to have a good time and play lacrosse as long as he can. SAMM will continue to compose music till he dies. Ty will continue to perform and create indefinitely. Steve, on the other hand, will never stop crafting greatness. However, it is still unclear what Con Bro Chill is and how his future will evolve. But who cares; you should come to join us for the celebration. For the children.
