Olivier, Tony, Drama Desk, and Drama League Award nominated and OBIE and Lucille Lortel Award winning actor, playwright and director. He is currently on location, starring in "The Birth of A Nation" directed by Nate Parker. Colman has joined the cast of AMC's "Fear The Walking Dead," which premiers in August 2015. Domingo also recurs on season two of the Cinemax original series "The Knick" as Dr. Russell Daniels and recently filmed the Ava DuVernay helmed pilot, "For Justice," for CBS produced by Robert DeNiro. Mr. Domingo has starred in the Academy AwardŸ nominated Paramount/Pathé film, "Selma," directed by Ava DuVernay, as Reverend Ralph Abernathy and "Time Out of Mind" with Richard Gere which premieres later this year.
Domingo starred in The London Evening Standard Award winning, "The Scottsboro Boys," at the Young Vic in London a role which he originated on and Off Broadway and reprised on the West End. He co-starred in many films such as Lee Daniels' "The Butler" directed by Lee Daniels, "All is Bright" directed by Phil Morrison, and "Newlyweeds" directed by Shaka King. Colman is proud to have opened the Academy Award and Screen Actors Guild Ensemble Award nominated film "Lincoln" opposite Daniel Day Lewis as Private Harold Green, directed by Steven Spielberg and was honored to ride the dolly for the signature shot starring as Blessing Rowe in the critically polarizing "Red Hook Summer" directed by Spike Lee.
