Colbie Caillat is an American pop singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist from Malibu, California, who was born on May 28, 1985. Coco, her debut album, was released in 2007 and featured the hit tracks Bubbly and Realize. She received a Grammy for her duet with Jason Mraz, Lucky, in 2008. Breakthrough, Caillat's second album, was released in August 2009.
Breakthrough was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2010. For her backup vocals and writing on Taylor Swift's Fearless album, she was also a member of the group that won Album of the Year at the 2010 Grammys. Caillat has sold over six million albums and ten million singles globally.
