The cheerful side of life is embraced by Holmes' strong voice and theatrical presence. Anything may happen while he's on stage. Clint got his big break when Joan Rivers asked him to be her sidekick and announcer on The Late Show, which is now defunct.
After that, he worked for two years as a musical feature and event correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. Those jobs increased Clint's prominence, but it wasn't until he earned his own Emmy-winning talk/variety program on WWOR-TV that it all came together for him.
