Clarke Forsythe Biography

Author of the book titled Abuse of Discretion: The Inside Story of Roe v. Wade, published by Encounter Books in 2013 is Clarke Forsythe who also serves as Senior Counsel at America’s United for life. Politics for the Greatest Good: The Case for Prudence in the Public Square was the first book he wrote which brings out lessons in political judgement from Wilberforce, Lincoln, Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas and In 2009, it was published by InterVarsity Press. According to First Things, it is “an essential book for lawmakers and all participants in the ongoing culture wars.” Clarke holds an M.A. in Bioethics from Trinity International University (2006), where he is an adjunct professor of bioethics, a law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law, and a B.A. in Political Science from Allegheny College.
