Chuck Dymer Biography

Chuck Dymer is passionate about assisting businesses and individuals in changing their mindsets. Chuck Dymer has been traveling around North America and the world since 1987, assisting leaders, managers, and their direct reports in their search for new business concepts, developing new ideas, and strengthening teams. Dr. Edward de Bono allowed Chuck Dymer to deliver the Six Thought Hats approach for focused thinking for the first time in the world. He is an authorized Master Trainer in the de Bono Thinking Methods: Six Thinking Hats®, Lateral Thinking®, and Direct Attention Thinking Tools, and a member of the Advanced Practical Thinking Training Network since 1993. Chuck Dymer earned his Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Waterloo, as well as his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Duquesne University. Chuck Dymer worked as a systems consultant, programmer, technical support representative, regional sales and support manager, and national marketing manager for 15 years before becoming interested in creative thinking. Chuck Dymer is a member of the Leadership Team, a lector, and an occasional lawn keeper at his church when he is not conducting idea sessions. Chuck Dymer is also a member of the Union Cemetery Historical Society and the Abbey Press's advisory board. Chuck Dymer, a native of Pittsburgh, now resides in Kansas City with his wife Katie, who has persuaded him to support the Chiefs rather than the Steelers.
