Christine (Kricket) Seidman M.D. is a Professor of Genetics and the Thomas W. Smith Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital. She is also an investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. She joined the staff at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 1987 and is currently the director of the Cardiovascular Genetics Center.

Along with her husband Jonathan Seidman Ph.D. Dr. Seidman has elucidated multiple genetic causes of human disorders affecting the heart and vasculature. The Seidmans' discoveries include the identification and demonstration of genetic mutations causing hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and dilated cardiomyopathy as well as the first genetic cause of congenital heart malformations.
