Chris Scelfo is the school's 36th head football coach. Chris has created a curriculum aimed at helping athletes achieve both on and off the field, while also preparing them for the future via a diet of discipline, hard work, and continuous support. Scelfo had a strong offensive coaching career before coming to Tulane in 1998.
His previous two coaching jobs, at Georgia as an assistant head coach and offensive line coach from 1996 to 1998, and at Marshall as an offensive coordinator and offensive line coach from 1990 to 1995, resulted in seven of his nine teams reaching the playoffs and eight winning seasons.
