Chris Gheysens is the President and CEO of Wawa Inc., a privately held convenience store/gas station company with roughly 700 outlets along the East Coast of the United States. He grew raised in Vineland, New Jersey, and worked as a kid at his father's car wash. He graduated in 1989 from St.
Augustine Preparatory School in Richland, New Jersey, after attending St. Mary School in East Vineland. Gheysens graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in accounting in 1993 and Saint Joseph's University with an M.B.A. in 2005, both in Philadelphia. His family would spend their summers at Sea Isle City, on the Jersey Shore.
