Fiscal Management Associates' PPP Forgiveness Racial Equity Initiative is led by Chitra Aiyar, a consultant of the firm. She recently stepped down as Executive Director of the Sadie Nash Leadership Project, a feminist social justice youth leadership program in NYC and Newark, NJ, for young women and gender-expansive kids of color.
While there, she started a Feminist Workplace Project to ensure that the most women of color staff's workplace policies were in line with the feminist principles being taught in the classroom, and she also assisted the Board in constructing an assertion of feminist principles that reflected a dedication to centering women of color and mentioning and utilizing individual privilege.
