Dr. Cheryl L. Holder is a board-certified internist who has devoted her medical career to assisting underprivileged people. She began her career in 1987 as a National Health Service Corps Scholar in Miami-Dade County, Florida, working with medically disadvantaged populations. Dr.
Holder mentored University of Miami Family Medicine Residents during their Internal Medicine rotation at Jackson Memorial Hospital under the supervision of Lynn Carmichael, MD, regarded as the "Father of Family Medicine." Dr. Holder was the Medical Director of Jackson Health System's North Dade Health Center from 1990 until 2009.
