Cheryl Boone Isaacs is the immediate past president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences having served the maximum 4 one-year terms. She represented the Public Relations Branch as a governor for 24 years.

During her tenure as a governor she served as First Vice President Vice President Secretary and Treasurer as well as President of the Academy Foundation the educational and cultural arm of the Academy. In 2012 Boone Isaacs produced the Academy’s prestigious 4th Annual Governors Awards.Isaacs has been a respected motion picture marketing executive for over 30 years.
