At age two, Charlie Alejandro was abandoned by her birth mother and raised in a dysfunctional poverty stricken family. Alejandro got married as a teenager in order to escape her abusive home and became a mother to three boys before she turning twenty.
She strived to further her education by earning her GED, obtaining her medical assistant certification and becoming a Mass. Metropolitan Police officer. In the mid-eighties, she became the first female on a Special Operations Unit in the State of Mass. Ms. Alejandro spent 6 years on the Tac team, became a Drill instructor and speaker on the department's speaker's bureau.
