CHARLES O. HOLLIDAY is the chairman of Bank of America's board of directors. Since September 2009, he has become a director. He was the previous chairman of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Co.'s board of directors, a post he held for around ten years. From 1998 until 2008, he was the chief executive officer of DuPont.
He began his career at DuPont as an engineer in 1970 and maintained several jobs during his time there. Deere & Company, Royal Dutch Shell, CH2MHill, the Climate Works Foundation, Duke University's Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, and the National Geographic Education Foundation are all on his board of directors.
