Parsons Corp., a multinational engineering, construction, technical, and management services corporation, is led by Charles Harrington, who serves as chairman, CEO, and president. The Pasadena-based company employs over 15,000 people and generates more than $3 billion in revenue. Previously, Harrington held the positions of executive vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer. He founded Parsons Commercial Technology Group and served as vice president of a multibillion-dollar engineering and construction project for the Department of Energy's Savannah River Site. After joining Parsons in 1982, he worked on a variety of projects in places as far apart as Saudi Arabia and Alaska's North Slope. AES Corp., the California Science Center Foundation, and the Cal Poly SLO Foundation are all on Harrington's board of directors. He is the chairman of the President's Council of Advisors at Cal Poly. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a bachelor's degree in engineering and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles' Anderson School of Management.
