Following a lengthy career at the American Heart Association, where he served as its CEO from 1997 to 2008, Cass Wheeler recently formed his own consulting firm. The group consolidated its 56 state and metropolitan affiliates into eight regions under his direction and established a single corporate structure. Revenue increased from $400 million to $650 million within the same time period.
