Juan Carlos Mortensen, commonly known as El Matador, is one of only two players in history to win the World Poker Tour (WPT) and the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. Many players are still attempting to find out how to play this daring rival since he is one of the game's most consistent performances.
It's tough to put anything past him, which makes him nearly impossible to read at the tables. He's known for his propensity to bluff and call bluffs. Mortensen has won the WSOP Main Event in 2001, a second WSOP bracelet in 2003, and a WPT championship at the Doyle Brunson North American No-Limit Hold'em Poker Championship in 2004.
