CARLA PIÑEYRO SUBLETT is the chief marketing officer for the Americas at Rackspace a San Antonio-based IT services company and leader in managed cloud. In her current role Sublett and her team drive demand generation through events field and channel marketing eCommerce telesales and digital marketing. Prior to her role at Rackspace Sublett was an executive at Dell for 16 years. In her role as executive director of marketing for Latin America she and her organization drove all facets of marketing in the region. She was also a founding member of Adelante a Hispanic Employee Resource Group. She was president of the board of the Thinkery (formerly the Austin Children’s Museum) where she continues to serve on the executive board. In 2011 she was awarded The Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever award by the Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility. In 2013 HispanicBusiness.com named her one of the Top 50 Influential Hispanics in the United States. She is extraordinarily proud of her loving and supportive family including her husband Jeff and their two children Quentin and Amelia. Sublett is an alumna of The University of Texas at Austin where she studied architecture and Latin American studies. @rackspace
