Canned Heat was formed in 1966 and became famous for their passion and knowledge of blues music. With their rock songs “Let’s Work Together,” “On The Road Again,” and “Going Up The Country,” Canned Heat achieved three worldwide hits. Headlining slot at the original Woodstock Festival and at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, Canned Heat secured their spot in Rock n’Roll history with their electrifying performances. For more than fifty years now with forty albums to their name, Canned Heat is still thriving although its original members Larry Taylor, Alan Wilson, Henry Vestine and Bob Hite are dead. In the past decade, Adolfo “Fito” de la Parra the legendary original drummer has been vibing with John “JP” Paulus on lead guitar and vocals, and Dale Spalding on harmonica, guitar and lead vocals; and in the past year, Rick Reed the bassist joined them. Canned Heat continues to record and tour the world and remain dedicated to thrilling their fans all over the world.
