Born and raised in Massachusetts, Brunonia Barry made her literary debut with the critically acclaimed, New York Times, and international best-selling novel The Lace Reader (William Morrow). The book landed on international best-seller lists and received rave reviews from publications such as Time magazine, People, Elle, the New York Times and from writers including Joshilyn Jackson and Marisa de los Santos.
