Bruce Cohen Productions was recently created by Academy Award-winning producer Bruce Cohen, who expanded his film and television enterprises to include live events, theatre, and new media. Bruce previously produced MILK, directed by Gus Van Sant and starring Sean Penn as Harvey Milk, alongside his producing partner Dan Jinks.
The film was nominated for eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Leading Actor, and won Oscars for Best Original Screenplay and Best Leading Actor. The British Academy Awards (BAFTAs) and the Producers Guild (PGA) both nominated it for Best Picture, and it won the PGA's Stanley Kramer Award.
