As CEO of Courageous Leadership, LLC, Brooke and her colleagues help boards, executives, and teams develop the understanding and skills to act with ethical courage and ingenuity in the face of challenging situations. Building on her experience as the founding Corporate Director for the Heroic Imagination Project with Phil Zimbardo from Stanford University, she combines social and cognitive psychology and a strategic focus with a passion for leadership, empowerment, collaboration, and social and environmental justice.
Brooke currently has a Huffington Post blog series on the science of Courageous Leadership in Business. Brooke and her Courageous Leadership team have supported companies including Google, Kaiser Permanente, Columbia University Medical Center, MIT Sloan Management, and the Australian Government in conversations with their teams about ethical courage, radical collaboration and true diversity inclusion. Their most recent support was for Watermarkâs Board Access Program â an initiative for the inclusion of women leaders on boards.
