After her family relocated from Lodi, California, Bridget Marquardt was born in Tillamook, Oregon. Marquardt's mother relocated the family to California shortly after her birth, where she was reared. Marquardt's parents split while she was in fifth grade. Marquardt and her younger brother Edward went to their stepfather's ranch after her mother remarried, where they eventually gained a half-sister, Anastasia.
Marquardt spent her freshman and sophomore years at Galt High School before transferring to Lodi High School, where she graduated in 1990. Marquardt earned an Associate Degree from San Joaquin Delta College. She attended California State University, Sacramento, and earned a B.A. in communications with a focus on public relations in 1998.
