Brett Gelman, a native of Highland Park, Illinois, is an actor, comedian, producer, and writer. Gelman has been in a number of television programs, including Hamish on "Another Period," A.J. on "Married," Brett Mobley on "Eagleheart," Mr. K on "Go On," and Martin on "Fleabag." Gelman earned his bachelor's degree in drama from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He went to New York City after graduation and became a frequent performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, where he was a member of the duet Cracked Out, sketch ensemble Mr. A$$, and improv group Monkey Dick. Gelman first appeared in cinema in the film "Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story."
