Mr. Saunders has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical business, having most recently worked for Schering-Plough as a senior executive. He was most recently president of Global Consumer Health Care and was designated head of integration for Schering-merger Plough's with Merck & Co. and the acquisition of Organon BioSciences by Schering Plough. Mr. Saunders was a partner and head of Compliance Business Advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP before joining Schering-Plough. Prior to that, he served as Coventry Health Care's chief risk officer and Home Care Corporation of America's senior vice president of compliance, legal, and regulatory affairs. Mr. Saunders began his career as the Thomas Jefferson University Health System's top compliance officer. Mr. Saunders is a member of the ElectroCore LLC, Overlook Hospital Foundation, and American Heart Association Boards of Directors. He was recently appointed to the Upstate New York Regional Advisory Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Mr. Saunders, 40, graduated from Temple University School of Business with an MBA, Temple University School of Law with a J.D., and the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree.
