Brad Herman is the head of DreamLab, DreamWorks Animation's research lab dedicated to using emerging technologies to develop mobile, immersive, and interactive experiences. DreamLab creates unique, interactive branded experiences by combining cutting-edge technology with the studio's narrative abilities. DreamWorksVR, a virtual reality platform that allows users to interact with DreamWorks Animation characters, is one of Brad's most recent projects.
His team also created the technology for DreamWorks DreamPlace, an interactive Christmas trip that begins with Shrek and concludes with Santa and is available in select retail locations around the United States. Brad has previously worked as a Crowds Supervisor on DreamWorks Animation films such as Turbo, Kung Fu Panda 2, Kung Fu Panda Holiday Special, and Monsters vs. Aliens.
