Brad Grey is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Paramount Pictures Corporation. In this position, Mr. Grey is responsible for all feature film and television development and production for the Paramount Motion Picture Group which includes Paramount Pictures, Paramount Television, Paramount Vantage, Paramount Classics, Paramount Animation, MTV Films and Nickelodeon Movies. He is also responsible for the worldwide business operations for Paramount Pictures International, Paramount Home Media, Paramount Licensing Inc., Paramount Studio Group and Worldwide Television Distribution.
Mr. Grey’s motion picture credits as a producer include the Academy Award® winning film for Best Picture, “THE DEPARTED,” directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson, and Mark Wahlberg, and “CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY,” starring Johnny Depp under the direction of Tim Burton. In addition, Mr. Grey has produced some of the most celebrated programs on television, including HBO’s Emmy award-winning series “THE SOPRANOS,” “REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER,” and “THE LARRY SANDERS SHOW.” He is a multiple Golden Globe, BAFTA, PGA and Emmy Award winner, as well as a four-time recipient of the George Foster Peabody Award. Under Grey’s leadership, Paramount is presently re-launching its television division and is coming off a recent success with the breakthrough hit “Grease: Live,” directed by Tommy Kail on Fox. The record-breaking Paramount-produced telecast ranked as the No. 1 most social live musical event ever, and delivered more than 17 million viewers worldwide.
