Boris is an engineer and researcher who has built a variety of robotic systems, ranging from consumer items to off-road autonomous cars and bomb-disposal robots. He has made it his life's mission to make products that people would not anticipate to be feasible. Boris served at iRobot and Neato Robotics before creating Anki.
He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute with a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in robotics. Unfortunately, Anki prevents him from playing tennis as much as he would like. Boris presented Anki's goal of bringing robots out of the lab and into people's lives at Apple's WWDC conference in June 2013.
