Friends Mindee Doney and Julie Pickens, often known as The Boogie Moms, created the first-ever saline nose wipe dubbed Boogie Wipes as a cure for their children's painful, red, runny noses. Little Busy Bodies, Inc was founded in May 2007 using the idea, their business experience, and their mompreneur's enthusiasm.
Mindee Doney and Julie Pickens led the firm through a rigorous R&D process that included hiring a scientist, conducting market surveys, and interviewing manufacturers. Mindee Doney and Julie Pickens sold their first pack of Boogie Wipes in December 2007. Sales increased to $1.1 million in the first year of operation.
