Upon graduation from Charles Henderson High School in 1995, Drinkard attended Troy University, where he graduated in May 2003, with a Bachelors of Science in JournalismPublic Relations. While at Troy University, Drinkard was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, and The SPJ Club (Society of Professional Journalists). Upon graduation from Troy, Bobby Jon moved to Los Angeles, to pursue a career in entertainment.
