Bob Zany Biography

He was a participant in The Gong Show during the 1970s. Zany had acquired a substantial amount of weight between that time and a 1986 performance on the TV special George Schlatter's Comedy Club, which he was able to shed by the time he appeared as a competitor on To Tell the Truth in 1990. He currently has his own part called The Zany Report on The Bob and Tom Show, which he appears on once a week. He's also appeared as a guest host on Jerry Lewis' Labor Day Telethon in recent years. He made an appearance on the Comedy Central special The Friends of Bob and Tom on September 16, 2006.
