Bob Keiller Biography

Since November 2012, Mr. Robert Keiller, better known as Bob, has served as the Group Chief Executive of John Wood Group PLC. Mr. Keiller worked at John Wood Group Plc as a Group Director of the Wood Group PSN Division. He began his career in the oil and gas business in 1986, and in 2006, he managed the management buyout of PSN from Halliburton, which was followed by a sale to Wood Group in 2011. Mr. Keiller worked at Production Services Network (UK) Limited as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director. Mr. Keiller began his career with PSN in 2002 as the UK head of Production Services, and in 2004 was promoted to managing director of worldwide operations. From April 2011 until January 2013, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Wood Group PSN at John Wood Group PLC. He was the Joint Chairman of Scottish Enterprise's Oil & Gas Industry Advisory Group. Since April 2011, Mr. Keiller has served as a Director of John Wood GroupPLC. He was a board member of PILOT, an industry-government initiative. He was a member of the Offshore Contractors Association, the Helicopter Issues Task Group, the Entrepreneurial Exchange, and Oil & Gas UK's Co-Chair. He chaired the Aberdeen & District Round Table as well as the Entrepreneurial Exchange. He was a member of the UK's cross-industry Step Change in Safety Leadership Team and chaired the UK Helicopter Task Group, which was established in 2009 to speed up air safety reforms. Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006 and 2008, Scottish Businessman of the Year in 2007, and Grampian Industrialist of the Year in 2008 are just a few of his accolades. At the Scottish Offshore Achievement Awards in 2009, he was honored for his excellent contribution to the oil and gas sector. When he received the International Regulators Forum's 'Carolita Kallaur Award' in 2010 for his excellent leadership of the Helicopter Task Group, he became the first person to gain worldwide recognition in safety leadership. Robert Gordon University has awarded him an Honorary Doctorate. He is a Chartered Engineer and holds a Master of Engineering degree from Heriot-Watt University.
