Bo Seo is a South Korean-Australian journalist, author, and two-time world champion debater. Moving to Australia at age eight with limited English, he discovered competitive debate in fifth grade, which transformed his ability to express himself.
Seo captained Australia’s team to victory at the 2013 World Schools Debating Championships, becoming the top speaker, and won the 2016 World Universities Debating Championship at Harvard with partner Fanele Mashwama. A Harvard College graduate and Schwarzman Scholar with a master’s in public policy from Tsinghua University, he’s currently a Juris Doctor candidate at Harvard Law School.
