Born in 1988, Blair Braverman has made a name for herself as an American adventurer, dogsled racer, musher, advice columnist, and nonfiction writer. One of her most impressive feats was completing the grueling 1,000-mile (1,600 km) dogsled race from Anchorage to Nome, Alaska, known as the Iditarod, in 2019.
In recognition of her accomplishments, the Outdoor Industry Association named Braverman to their prestigious Outdoor 30 Under 30 list in 2016. Publishers Weekly also took notice of her talent and dubbed her a "21st-century feminist reincarnation of Jack London" - high praise indeed. Braverman's pursuits are a testament to her passion for adventure and her skill in outdoor pursuits.
