Henry Paul (guitar, mandolin, and vocals) and Dave Robbins (guitar, mandolin, and vocals) form the multi-platinum-selling country duo BlackHawk (keyboards and vocals). With their breakthrough single, Goodbye Says It All, they and third founding member Van Stephenson burst onto the country music scene in 1993.

Van was diagnosed with melanoma, a severe form of skin cancer, in 1999, and his life was cut short. Van lost his battle in 2001 after a long and valiant fight.
