Bin Lin co-founded Xiaomi Corporation with angel investor Lei Jun in April 2010. He is now president of Xiaomi Corporation and is in charge of Xiaomi’s day-to-day operation business and product strategy carrier relationship and business development with strategic suppliers and business partners.Bin worked at Google Inc. as engineering director from 2006 to 2010.
He founded and led Google China’s engineering effort for Mobile Android apps and Google Music. Under Bin’s leadership he and his team successfully launched many Google products for the China market including Google Mobile Maps Mandarin voice search mobile verticals such as video dictionary finance local etc.
