In 1998, Bill Hambrecht formed WR Hambrecht + Co and introduced OpenIPO® as a way to level the playing field for both investors and issuers. He co-founded Hambrecht & Quist, an investment banking business specialized on developing high-growth technology firms, in 1968. Bill has served on the boards of several private and public corporations. He is presently a member of the Presidio Trust in San Francisco. Bill was admitted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in October of 2006. Bill received his bachelor's degree from Princeton University.
