Biagio Bill Sciacca, sometimes known as Bill, grew raised in Northeast Pennsylvania's coal mining area. He has a bachelor's degree in philosophy and sociology as well as a master's and doctoral degree in business administration. He has been teaching at the university level since 1982, and recently accepted a full-time academic position at Penn State University, one of the top ten research universities in the world, where he lectures in Micro and Macro Economics, Marketing, Leadership, Strategic Management, and Interpersonal Skills in Business. Bill operated an award-winning consultancy and training firm, a chain of doughnut and ice cream franchises, and many automotive/car maintenance enterprises in addition to his academic position. Bill's consulting firm has thousands of clients, ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations. Bill spends his leisure time researching creativity, cooking Southern Italian cuisine, writing novels, and composing and recording his own guitar tunes. He's also a SPIN-certified teacher.
