Born and raised in Kenya Betty Odak came to America in 1995 to continue her education. She holds a master's degree in psychology from Hope International University Fullerton and is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program for industrial and organizational psychology.
Odak is the founder and editor of an online magazine Beyond Cross Cultural Magazine Inc (http://bcultural.org) a non-profit organization that supports foreigners coming to US for the first time and informing all multicultural people of different issues including: finances relationships immigration laws cultural issues and adjustment.
