Ben Masters didn't allow negative feedback on his high school performances to deter him from pursuing his passion of becoming an actor. Masters went to New York after graduating from the University of Oregon with a theatrical degree and landing a role in the off-Broadway production The Boys In The Band.
Soon after, an agent and a few Broadway plays followed, including Captain Brassbound's Conversion starring Ingrid Bergman and The Cherry Orchard starring Meryl Streep. Masters was exposed to daytime dramas when he played Vic Strang on ANOTHER WORLD for three months in 1982, in the midst of a three-decade career performing TV movies, miniseries, and guest appearances.
