Ben Lorica is the Program Director of both the Strata Data Conference and the Artificial Intelligence Conference at O'Reilly Media, Inc. He is also the Chief Data Scientist at O'Reilly Media, Inc. He also hosts the podcast The O'Reilly Data Show. Lorica focuses on data science, data engineering, artificial intelligence, and technology personalities, open-source projects, issues, and enterprises. Databricks, Alluxio, Matroid, Anodot, Determined AI, Faculty (previously ASI Data Science), Graphistry, DeepScale, Yakit, and The Center for Data-Intensive Science + Open Commons Consortium are just a handful of the interesting businesses and organizations he advises (University of Chicago).
