Ben Ferguson Biography

Two-time winner of Danny Davis' Peace Park event, judged by fellow riders, Ben Ferguson, is a member of the US Snowboarding Team. In 2010, Ferguson excelled in with a halfpipe win at the final Rev Tour stop of the season and he took it a notch higher in 2011 with a 10th-place finish at the Mammoth stop of the U.S. Grand Prix. In 2012, He stayed focused and kept at it and won gold in halfpipe and received silver in slopestyle at the inaugural Youth Olympic Games, although it was the 2013 to 2014 season that made Ferguson famous. He started the Olympic season finishing in third place at the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix at Copper Mountain. He made finals at nearly every event of the season and continued to dazzle judges and fans. His top results include coming fifth at X Games and third at the final Grand Prix in Mammoth, almost missing the 2014 Olympic team. He finished the season strong with a fourth at the Burton US Open. Ben united with his younger brother Gabe who is also a member of U.S. Snowboarding in 2015, to win the doubles event at Red Bull Double Pipe in Aspen, showing off his skills on tranny features as well as jumps and rails. The 2016 season was outstanding for Ferguson, who scored podium finishes around the world. He came second at the Burton US Open in Vail and accepted his first X Games medal (silver) in Aspen.
