Ben Bradlee, Jr. is a celebrated novelist and writer who worked for The Boston Globe for twenty-five years, from 1979 to 2004, then as a reporter and fifteen as an editor. Ben coordinated the coverage in SPOTLIGHT and oversaw the preparation of a book on the issue, Betrayal: The Crisis in the Catholic Church, as Deputy Managing Editor.
He served as a State House reporter, investigative reporter, national correspondent, political editor, and metropolitan editor at The Boston Globe. Bradlee, Jr. wrote an in-depth biography of Boston Red Sox legend Ted Williams, The Kid: The Immortal Life of Ted Williams, which was lauded by critics and became a New York Times Bestseller in 2013.
