Worley has worked as a technology reporter/producer since 1998. She is presently an ABC Good Morning America technology contributor and the anchor of the Yahoo! News tech series, Upgrade Your Life. Her objective is to spread technology information to as many people as possible, stating that "technology is as much a lifestyle problem as fashion and health." It has become a part of our daily lives.” She combines consumer reporting with tech/gadget evaluations in a way that no other national network reporter does, and she has been dubbed "the Martha Stewart of technology." Becky began her television career right out of college, working in news for Seattle's KOMO-TV. In 1998, the launch of ZDTV, an all-technology network, was a dream come true: TV + Tech. Worley produced three distinct shows during her six years at ZDTV/TechTV, presented a live, hour-long computer assistance call-in show, and was selected as an anchor when TechTV developed an eight-hour technology news format. She then began appearing as a tech expert on Good Morning America and was eventually recruited as the network's technology contributor. Along with her daily reports for Good Morning America, she has been on World News with Diane Sawyer, Nightline, and 20/20. Worley appears frequently on the Dr. Oz Show. She has hosted shows for the Travel Channel, National Geographic, and the Fine Living Network, among others. She is the author of Security Alert: True Stories of People Fighting Viruses, Identity Theft, and Scams. Worley graduated from Stanford University with a master's degree. She graduated from the Learning, Design, and Technology program, which focuses on technology and education. Worley was reared on the Hawaiian island of Maui, attended Middlebury College in Vermont, and now lives in Oakland, California with her boyfriend and four-year-old twins.
