Dr. Barbara Buchner is the Executive Director of Climate Policy Initiative's famous Climate Finance program as well as its Global Managing Director. Barbara has been named one of the top 20 women in climate change and one of the top 100 individuals in climate policy. She advises leaders on climate, energy, and land-use investments all around the world.
Buchner is the director of the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (the Lab) and its Brazilian and Indian sister projects. The Lab's public-private strategy seeks for, designs, and tests cutting-edge climate finance instruments that help alternative energy, adaptation, and land use initiatives overcome financial hurdles.
