Denise Nicole White known professionally as AverySunshine or Avery*Sunshine is a singer-songwriter and pianist.White attended Spelman College in Atlanta and formed a gospel and R&B singing duo with classmate Maia Nkenge Wilson called DaisyRew. The duo performed in African at churches and clubs around the area. Following college White went to work at St.
Paul AME Church and met Dana Johnson who started managing the duo.In 2010 White and Johnson began working on the album AverySunshine under their own label BigShine. The album was praised by the media including USA Today and The Washington Post. From 2010 until 2013 AverySunshine toured through the United State the UK Europe and Africa.
