Previously he was a City Hall reporter and a general assignment reporter in the Globe’s Metro section and worked on a month-long investigation into alleged real estate fraud.
Herndon who hails from the Chicago suburbs is a graduate of Marquette University. In his free time Herndon enjoys basketball musical theater and cheering on the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club of which he is a die-hard fan.
