Dr. Arthur B. Laffer is the chairman and founder of Laffer Associates, an economic research and consultancy organization that offers institutional asset managers investment research. On Jan. 1, 1990, the Los Angeles Times published "A Dozen Who Shaped the '80s," while on June 23, 1989, the Wall Street Journal published "A Gallery of the Greatest People Who Influenced Our Daily Business." In its July 1992 Silver Anniversary issue, "The Heroes, Villains, Triumphs, Failures, and Other Memorable Events," Institutional Investor called Laffer's discovery of the Laffer Curve a "memorable event" in financial history.
