Ari Lennox is an R&B singer/songwriter signed to J. Cole's Dreamville label who was discovered after she posted a few of examples of her work to the Internet. Lennox, who is based in Washington, D.C., began posting her music in 2012 and published her debut EP, Ariography, in 2013.
In 2014, a few additional stray tracks were posted, as well as the independently released single Bound. She signed with Dreamville in 2015. Following that, she performed on Omen's 2015 CD Elephant Eyes, and in 2016 she appeared on the Dreamville collection Revenge of the Dreamers, Vol. 2.
