In this role, Rinne also established and headed the Shareable Cities practice, aimed at assisting public leaders in harnessing the potential of collaborative models to drive sustainable growth, bolster local economies, enhance resilience, and foster community building.

Rinne is a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum; there, she heads the Sharing Economy Working Group and is also part of the Sharing Economy Advisory Board for Seoul in South Korea.

She stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in business innovation, financial inclusion, policy-making, law, and micro-entrepreneurship through her roles on the Board of Directors of the World Wide Web Foundation, as an advisor for Harvard's Law and International Development Society (LID), and her membership in REX (the Relationship Economy Expedition).

Rinne has published articles on reputed platforms such as The Guardian, The Washington Post, and the Huffington Post. She has also presented her ideas at the World Economic Forum. Rinne has addressed Fortune 50 companies, start-ups, governments, universities, and foundations worldwide, including Emory University, MIT, Social Innovation Generation (SiG), Institute for the Future, Etsy, and EcoDistricts.

Before her current role, Rinne was the Director of WaterCredit at Water.org, where she led innovative projects to create sustainable marketplaces in developing countries. Rinne also worked as a private attorney specializing in international finance at Allen & Overy and taught for the International Development Law Organization.

She has provided advisory services to several social enterprises and investors, including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Kiva, and Grameen. Her trailblazing work in microfinance emphasized the significance of reputation and social capital as crucial determinants of success.

Rinne was part of the pioneering team that created microfinance vehicles for the underprivileged and unbanked population to promote equitable financial inclusivity. Rinne holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, an M.A. in International Finance and Business Relations from the Fletcher School, and a B.A. in International Studies and Italian from Emory University.

She was also a Fulbright Scholar at the European University Institute and a visiting student of politics and economics at Oxford University. Rinne is a polyglot, fluent in Italian and Spanish, and has a good command of French.

Her extensive travels to 86 countries and over a decade of experience living, working, and studying abroad have given her a global perspective that informs her work. Be warned; she is also exceptionally skilled in handstands, so don't try to compete!
